Santa Clarita & The San Fernando Valley Sewer Camera Inspection

A camera on a cable goes into the sewer line and shows what's in it: roots, cracks, a sag, a joint that's pulled apart. You see it on the screen with us.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. No after-hours emergency service.

Sounds familiar?

  1. Repeat clogsA main line that clogs again and again has a reason the camera will show.
  2. Buying a houseAn older home's sewer lateral is worth seeing before the sale closes.
  3. Wet spots, odorsA soggy patch or sewer smell in the yard can mean a broken line.
  4. Before jettingJetting a broken pipe makes it worse. The camera goes first.

How We Handle Sewer Camera Inspection

Nobody can tell you what's wrong with a buried pipe without looking inside it. The camera goes in through a cleanout and travels down the line to the street, showing every joint on the way. Roots get in at joints. Old clay and cast iron crack. Ground settles and leaves a belly where waste sits.

An inspection is worth it before you spend money on the line: before jetting, before a repair, and before you buy a house. A sewer line problem on a house you're buying is far cheaper to find before the sale closes than after.

We show you what the camera sees as it sees it, and we tell you what it means: clean it, repair one spot, or replace the line.

  1. Camera through an accessible cleanout
  2. Roots, cracks, offsets, bellies and breaks located
  3. Pipe material and condition noted
  4. What we found, and what it needs
  5. Inspection before buying a home

Sewer Camera Inspection Questions

Should I get a sewer inspection before buying a house?

For an older house, yes. The sewer lateral is buried and doesn't show up in a regular home inspection, and replacing one is a big job. Seeing it before the sale closes gives you room to negotiate or walk away.

What can a sewer camera find?

Roots growing in at joints, cracks, pipe that has separated or sagged, collapsed sections, grease buildup and objects stuck in the line, along with roughly where along the line each one is.
